HATHA YOGA

A practice of balance

Hatha is the Sanskrit name that derives from the union of ha (sun) and tha (moon), the equilibrium to which we aspire in yoga practice. Hatha is the most traditional form of yoga, for everyone – whatever his or her level of experience, and the practice places emphasis on postural alignment. The classes cover a complete repertoire of postures (asanas), sun salutations, breathing exercises (pranayama) and guided relaxation techniques.

The practice of Hatha Yoga improves muscle strength, flexibility and allows you to be more focused and relaxed from a mental point of view.

Hatha Flow yoga is an evolution of Hatha Yoga in which each posture is connected to the next in a fluid,  coordinated sequence founded on the breath.

The Hatha and Meditation lessons add a moment dedicated to meditation within the yoga practice, a space at the end of the lesson in which to practice relaxation and better experience the peace generated by the practice.
