Why Tai chi?
T’ai Chi Ch’uan literally means ‘boxing of the supreme polarity’. It is much more than a non-violent martial art, it can also be practised as a soft gymnastics for psychophysical health and can be considered as a form of meditation, commonly defined as dynamic, because it is performed in movement. Everyone can practice it and benefit from it. The techniques of the Yang style are soft, the form is performed in slow movement and therefore recommended for all those who want to seek a state of psychophysical health, stimulating and enhancing vital energy.
What is your professional path?
In 1985, at the age of 8, I discovered the Chang School of Kung Fu and immediately became hooked. Over time, this martial art has become a way of life for me and a means of keeping my body and mind healthy. In 2000 I started teaching Kung Fu and from the beginning my aim was to share this great passion of mine. In recent years I have broadened my horizons by taking up the study of shiatsu and yoga.
Why City ZEN?
Entering City Zen one enters a different state of mind, which promotes calm and aids meditation.
